My cats do that. They drop the toy in the shoe to play and have something to wrestle with and then when they get bored of that game and move on they sometimes leave the toy in the shoe.

Our cat does similar. When we go to bed she will be lying on the bed until we are ready; then she goes away when we turn off the light. A few minutes later we have some nice little gifts given to us as she has brought some of her toys upstairs.

We reckon it is our gift for being kind to her all day!

My cat used to do that... I don't know why. I didn't discover it until one weekend when I went on a church outing and decided that whatever is my shoe is bothering me HAD to be check out... I reached my hand into my boot...and almost screemed! I felt fuzz... and then I saw a yellow feather.... lucky I realized it was a toy mouse.

Yes. It's a well known feline spell to keep you at home with them always. Is this your favourite pair of shoes or do you only have the one pair?
