The land belongs to the Jews. God said so in the Bible. There is no such thing as "Palestine", and no such people. They took that name for political reasons in the 60's. Prior to that, they'd never have called themselves by that name. It's a hoax.

The Israelis wanted it both ways, they want peace without giving back the land, and they want to keep the Middle east a war zone so they can keep occupying other people land. You can talk to any Israeli about Israel strategy of peace you will find at end that peace is not a vocabulary that they use in their thinking nor they know the real meaning of the terminology. Some misguided Israelis will tell you , well we got out from Gaza for peace. When you ask them if Israel want a real peace why do not they end the occupation of the West Bank too end of the story. They will tell you an automatic answer " well Barrack offered Arafat a good deal but he did go for it" We all know the late Arafat is gone and Israel position on peace is the same. They want more wars than real peace.

First of all Palestine was never an independent identity within the Ottoman empire so there was never anything called Palestinians. It was part of Syria When the Brits conquered it, they called it Palestine which was the name for the region since the Romans named it Palestine to take the Jewish name of Judea away from the land. Now to the question of what the land was like under the Ottomans. Mark Twain went to the land in the mid-1800s and he said the land was empty. His exact words were "There is not a solitary village throughout its whole extent-not for thirty miles in either direction. There are two or three small clusters of Bedouin tents, but not a single permanent habitation. One may ride ten miles hereabouts and not see ten human beings." and "Palestine sits in sackcloth and ashes.... desolate and unlovely.. . Twain wrote with remone. it is dreamland." A British consul wrote in 1857 "the country is in a considerable degree empty of inhabitants and therefore its greatest need is that of a body of population" Estimates for the total population of Palestine, which includes the West Bank and Gaza along with Israel was about 100,000-400,000 depending on sources with many of them being nomads, robbers or absentee landlords. Jews came in the late 1800s and bought land from these landlords and began faming and building up the land. With the inlux of Jews, Arabs started coming from other Arab states to work for the Jews and to live in newly populated areas. So there was no ancient Palestinian people and when you look at the UN Partition Plan, it never says a Palestinian state, but rather an Arab state becasue they were viewed as Arabs until 1967. Also the law for a Palestinian refugee is that he must have lived in Palestine for only 2 years before 1948 to be considered a refugee so most of the refugees haven't been living in Israel for hundreds of years like they claim.

After WW1 the Ottoman empire was split up into sveral contries including palestine. Then after WW2 the misplaced jews that were either persecuted or forced to leave were compensated by receiving land which was part of palestine and it was renamed Israel. Palestine got mad of course and now palestine and all of the other muslim countries hate Israel and continue to fight them today. However, Israel cannot and will not lose because the US supports them with weapons and such.

current situation is Israel want to keep land that was never part of Israel. There is not one country" including the USA" is willing to recognize the Israeli annexation of the land. The Middle East will never be peaceful without ending the Israeli occupation. This is the conclusion also of the UN, EU, Backer-Hamilton report, and President Carter new book. No one could NOT change his mind unless he has no mind. Occupying other people by force is losing policy in the past and now and has no future.

I am saying this neutrally. So guys please don't yell at me. If the land Israelis are living in now is theirs, then why did they only come to claim it as their in the 1940's? They had thousands of years to reclaim the land of palestine. So if it is their land then why wait until the nazis kicked them out of their lands?

Palestinians are what Edward Said (The Famous middle East Scholar.)referred to as "The Victims Victims."In other words the Palestinian people paid for what the Nazis did to the Jews. The Israelis are Illegally occupying lands that are not theirs and more significantly are building settlements there in contravention of the Fourth Geneva convention.Crimes are being committed each day. Some Israelis of course will disagree but if you really care to know I can lead you in gently and suggest the following, "Scars of War Wounds of peace , written by schlomo ben-ami an ex Israeli Foreign Minister There are many others but start with that.

There is no Palestine--there is however a people that have taken the name of Palestinian as a political tool to garner the worlds sympathy to try to force the Jewish people from the land.
These people are Arabs from the surrounding huge Arabs lands. Very few arabs can lay claim and most of them are Israeli Arabs lving quite well within Israel.

Currently the Israelis are still killing innocent men, women and children of Palestine without regard for UN resolution (which formed their illegal state) or the world outrage for their behavior and serious human rights violations. An Israeli gets a scratch from a Palestinian, and it's a terror attack. An Israeli settler or IDF soldier kills a Palestinian baby, it's fighting terror. Palestinians are starving behind the apartheid wall not being able to shop or work. They are not even allowed allowed to fish without the risk of a "Israeli" settler from Russia or Poland pulling out a rifle. Their farms have been demolished, groves of trees bulldozed as well as their homes. Zionist Israel and their policies of ethnic cleansing are sickening.

The palestinians think they have a claim to the land of Israel, which they simply do not! They hate the Jews and would love to wipe them out! They do not only want to kill the Jews that are living in Israel, but rather any Jew, from anywhere in the world! They are sick people!
