Also, the use them to petition the U.S. government to stay here permanently. 300,000 unwanted babies are born in America each year by criminal illegal aliens. Europe doesn't give citizenship to children of illegal aliens. There is no reason for us to do the same.
The 14th Amendment was designed to help children of slaves to become citizens. It was not designed to help illegal aliens abuse our system. The 14th Amendment needs to be changed, or it needs to be clarified by congress.

Californians voted to take away benefits from illegal aliens. The ACLU sued to block it. The problem came after Democrat Governor Davis refused to appeal after the 9th "Circus" Court struck down the new law. The U.S. Supreme Court would have sided with voters.
In the past, the 9th "Circus" Court has even tried to override the U.S. Supreme Court.

Many Whites have Native American blood in them.
A very large percentage of Americans unknowingly have Native American blood in them from a couple hundred years ago. Native Americans will tell you that whites did not kill the Native Americans. Many single white men married the most beautiful Native American women around because there were not enough white women at the time. In fact in the late 1700's laws were made in many cities to stop it.

The loop-hole needs to be closed or greater clarification needs to be added because this Ammendment was not written for the purpose of "anchor" babies. Sometimes it is extreemly difficult to know how the world will change and how things will be misused when you write something into law.
I do beleive with every ounce of my being that there are ones who do plan to make sure they give birth as soon as they cross the border. There have been reports of people planning their vacation in order to have their children here, for the purpose of American citizenship, even when they take their baby and go back home. Not insurance for themselves, but insurance for their child in the future incase they want to come here and go to school etc. when they are adults. Or a legal chance to flee their country if something should go wrong in the future. No one has abused it like the Mexicans though. It needs to be fixed......this was not what it was intended for. One parent should be a citizen before a child is allowed to become a citizen.

I don't think the amendment is the problem and it's very likely it'll be changed even if it is. It's the interpretation of the amendment. This amendment was written exclusively so that the children of slaves would be considered citizens.
However, the founding fathers were very clear that children of foreigners who are born in America are not Americans. It's the misinterpretation that is causing problems.
Historically, you're correct. The illegals are bad, but their children are worse. This is true across the board of any illegal immigrants anywhere. The children tend to commit more criminal acts and tend to do worse in school (or drop out) and tend to reproduce at a younger age.
It's gonna get worse, folks!
