I had a sebaceous cyst surgically removed from my chest 2 months ago. In the exact same that the doctor removed the cyst and the sac, I have what appears to be another cyst. Can a cyst form again since the sac was removed? I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow but was just wondering what could this be now.

Yes. Especially if the cyst capsule is not removed totally. Are you sure that your doctor was able to remove the capsule? The other reason I can think of is since a sebaceous cyst is a hair follicle that has been obstructed and there is accumulation of sebum, probably hair follicles in the same area or adjacent to the pervious cyst get obstructed again therefore forming another sebaceous cyst.

you could desire to verify with a dermatologist, yet while it demands surgical operation, he will possibly refer you to a wellbeing practitioner, which you may desire to easily besides circulate to your very own wellbeing practitioner and enable him refer you to a wellbeing practitioner. you particularly do not decide to play around with it, as epidermis cancers (and that's purely one possibility, it might desire to correctly be benign) might properly be deadly. while you're insured, it won't value you any extra suitable to start with your very own wellbeing practitioner, and for destiny reference, that's extra advantageous that he know the finished historic previous. right here is hoping that's not something extra suitable than a nuisance.
