I have a male friend that I have completely fallen in love with. He is in a marriage but that marriage is on the rocks and he is very unhappy. I know this because they have both told me so. Should I persue him and a possible relationship?

Hi, I am definitely an "expert" on this subject! Many family members, friends and unfortunately, myself, have been in this same situation. Every time it has turned out to only hurt everyone involved, especially you- the other women. My advise to you is wait till he's totally free and single. These guys only use you to get through the rough times he's experiencing with his wife. Find someone that is a better catch, if you get away from his drama, you'll realize you don't love him as much as you thought. Give his wife and possible children a chance to make a mends with their man. You deserve your own man. good luck.

Story of my life... but anyway. If it was just a girlfriend I would say go for it, but since the guy made a committment of marriage, it's a different thing entirely. Do not get involved while he is still married. Wait until he at least puts in some plan to get a divorce or move out or whatever he plans to do. It may turn into a big mess that you do not want to get caught up in. And if he's indecisive, he'll side with his wife. They all do.

Stay out of it...you may find yourself named in a court case as the other woman....If they are both unhappy then let them settle it without your involvement. If they cant work it out and you are still interested then maybe you can go forward but until he and his wife are legally seperated or divorced you will just be borrowing more trouble

Regardless of his marriage is on the rocks or not YOU CAN NOT DO ANYTHING are you kidding me. That is wrong!! He is a married man and even if they are both unhappy they are still together. not just together they are MARRIED. I wouldnt even express my feelings to him because you dont want to confuse him. He is married

Get help you sicko. Let him resolve this without your interference. If the marriage ends on its own then pursue him, but not before. If you truly love him then things will work out for the best. If you get involved with him and then the marriage turns around and works itself out, he will leave you and then where will you be?

No--stay away. If the marriage does break up, you don't want to be the cause. After that, then see what he feels, but only if there is a break up.

If any one of them is your friend, then you should wait for their divorce. the last thing you want is to be the other woman especialy if they have kids.

Advice from someone who knows: if he realy loves you he will get the devorce and be with you. don't push him.
