oh man, there is somehting wrong with this guy! definitely. Im sorry hon, no matter how mature you may be, you cannot possibly be on the same wavelength as a 21 yr old! He is trying to take advantage of you. Be careful

Telling someone that they love them is a very, very real and serious statement. It can't be taken, by you, as a commitment. If he is willing to wait until you are 18 then wait until you are 18. By the way what is a 21 year old "man" doing dating a 16 year old "girl"? No offense but this is not right.

If he is willing to wait I would suggest experiencing all you can while you can.

If he truly loves you, and intends to be with you when you are 18 and ever after, HE'LL WAIT until you are 18 to be with you. If you let him pressure you and you give into him now, you can be sure that he will NOT be nor does he intend to be with you when you do finally turn 18. Be careful with the choices you make, some things you only get one chance to get right. You don't want to end up another teenage Mommy of two living on welfare and dealing with a dead beat dad who took off as soon as he found out he knocked you up (before your 18th birthday) out of fear that he's go to prison for STATUTORY RAPE. Be smart and keep your ankles away from your ears until you are of legal age and know for sure that he is going to be there for you. Don't let some guy take away your future and your self-respect because he doesn't love you enough to wait until you are legal and mature.

Coming from a guys point of view...He only wants you to wait untill you are 18 so he won't get in trouble for what he wants to do...(hint hint). If you are under 18 and someone over 18 does something with you then they could go to jail. He probably thinks you are real hot so obviously he wants to do things with you. I would move on. You shouldn't date someone 2 years or more older than you unless you are like 30 and like someone around 35. Its more of an issue with your age when you are young and what society deems as acceptable. Bottom line: guys will do whatever it takes to get in a girls pants...most guys anyways.

Whoaaa! Slow down! He's a man, not a teenager. He should back off and not see each other until you're 18, if then. Enjoy your teenage years before getting into a serious relationship. You're very smart to realize this is not in your best interest and you should question this. Don't react with your heart. Emerse yourself in school work, your friends, clubs and work toward going to college. Put him out of your mind and work on developing into a strong, smart woman. It's for the best. Good Luck!!

Not good. You'll see when you're 21 that it's kindof creepy for a 21 year old guy to want to be with a 16 year old girl.

It's VERY creepy for a 21 year old to be eye-balling a 16 year old girl. I suggest not going near the guy.

Leave him alone!!! He's telling you what you want to hear. He knows he's wrogn that's why he says when you're 18. The world revolves and waits for no one, so why should you? He's not. He's a man.
