I did, and I almost got caught. Luckily my girlfriend didn't visit me at the office at all, but whenthe coworker found out that I had a girldfriend, it got pretty difficult there for a while.

Anyone else ever come across this situation?

I wrote a blog dedicated to this topic, If you are curious read up:

you're a crappy boyfriend.

Life will catch up with you, don't think you got away with anything.

I didn't, but had a colleague who cheated on his girlfriend with a co-worker, but the G/F was ALSO a co-worker!

He had given his G/f his CC and told her to buy her something nice. She still had the card when she found out about the affair. Boy, did she ever buy herself something nice! Maxed out his CC!

Both relationships were destroyed by this antic, and you can imagine the strained relationships at work.

It is never a good idea to play games in your own back yard!

I haven't cheated on a girlfriend but I've had a very brief affair with a co-worker...it's been several months, almost a year since it happened and we go on at work like nothing happened. In our business you have to, and to this day nobody even has a clue. And...we are best friends now.

Oh, yeah.

I had been working at this resturant for a year and there was this waitress that was into me. I had been dating my ex-girlfriend for about a year then.

Well a week before I quit that job the waitress had been coming onto me hard and ended up hooking up with her after work. My current relationship was boring and this girl was smoking hot and gave me all the attention in the world.

I was skipping out on my ex to hang out with her for the next couple weeks up until my ex went out to a party with her friends. I hooked up with the girl again, got dressed and fell asleep on the bed next to her.

Well my ex showed up pounding on my door asking why I hadn't answered the phone. She talked to me in the doorway for about 2 minutes before she realized there was someone in my bed under the covers. She stormed out of the house and I talked to her in her car for the next 30 minutes and convinced her that she was a friend who needed a place to crash for the night and I fell asleep in the bed talking to her.

Needless to say I dated her for another year, didn't cheat again, and then called it quits.

yes, but not with a co-worker.

The only thing more stupid than cheating on a wife or girlfriend, is to cheat on a wife or girlfriend with a co-worker.

Even dogs are smart enough not to defecate close to where they eat.

You seem to want to define your relationship on your own terms. Doesn't that seem at least a little unfair to your girlfriend?
