A microwave oven is a misnomer. It doesn't cook or bake like a regular oven can. The reason for this is that it works by exciting the water molecules in a particular substance and thus heating it up. Since water cannot go beyond a certain temperature, it can never break down molecules and re-combine them to form more complex flavors. A microwave oven doesn't take out all the nutrients out of food, it's just that what I said above applies. You are used to tasting it a certain way, and a microwave oven basically steam cooks it from the inside out. Try it. Steam cook some broccoli and microwave some broccoli. It will taste the same. And to answer your questions:
1) I do use a microwave.
2) Microwaves are bad to anything that has water in it, especially humans since we are 90% water.
3) I do not cook my food in a microwave, I re-heat my left-overs and make the occasionally microwaveable pop-corn.

Yes, I use a microwave. But the myth that microwaves "take nutrients out of food" is just that: a myth. Spread by people who don't understand what microwaves are.
A microwave is just energy--like the heat eneregy (infrared) that a conventional oven/stove uses, except at a different frequency. But it does exactly the same thing--add energy to the food in a way that causes it to heat up. Nothing mysterious about it if you understand basic physics.

Microwaves are excellent for heating foods quickly, and heating them from the insides. I tried making a pizza pocket in the oven once, the inside remained cold, the outside was dry, and it would take a long time to heat it until it was fully warn in the inside, microwave takes care of that in a minute

I do use my microwave for a lot of things. I doubt I use it for 75% of my cooking, but it is nice to have.

It makes life much easier in reheating with a mircrowave. Remember those days when it took 15 minutes to heat up soup?
