My cats feet keep shaking. He is nearly a year old and has normal behaviour but seems to be sleeping more than normal. Is there something wrong or am I getting worried over nothing?

Hmmm ... it seems strange. You should call your vet and see if they'll talk to you about it on the phone. It's probably nothing, but it's best to be safe, right?

I'm assuming that this is new behavior. I doubt that he's cold--after all, cats walk around in the snow and freezing weather all the time without seeming to have cold feet. It could be some kind of strange neurological symptom, or it could be nothing. But I would call the vet and discuss it, and if they tell you to come in, do so. If it's gone on long enough to worry you, I'd say it's gone on long enough.

I'm not sure what this is -- could just be the cat is a little chilly or on the other end of worries could be a nerve issue. Get to a vet ASAP. I'd even discuss this on the phone with them first. Wish I could provide more, but I think the best and quickest answer is to get to the vet. Good luck -- I hope everything is okay with your kitty. --Andy

If his feet are shaking while he is sleeping he may be dreaming. I have had several cats over the years and noticed this with some of them from time to time.

Aside from the signs you are seeing your cat is also communicating with you on a more subliminal level and you have picked up those vibes.

I really you should have a vet check out his health status.

Do you have a lot of tile or wood flooring? It may be that he's cold.
