Where can I find Microsoft Office 03 or better for less than $150.00? I went to Microsoft.com and there price is $150.00, which I have a hard time with mainly because this software used to be free. I am in college and I really need this program ASAP. Thanks for the help.

I believe there is a microsoft office student edition, which has the same features as the regular one, but there are no updates available (big deal!! ) and that one is much cheaper than the regular office. There's another option...... although not legal. You can download it from Limewire or e-mule. I've found office 2000 and XP, but you need to be cautios of possible virus, always scan it with an antivirus (i have norton)before you run it :-)

If you need something IMMEDIATELY you can go to:
http://download.openoffice.org/2.1.0/index.html
Open Office is like a free version of office. All the programs run pretty much the same as real office programs, and will work for you if you need something right now until you can buy Office 2003/7. Just select your Operating System from this page, then SAVE.

Try Ebay if you want it real cheap. If you are a student most students get discounts from microsoft, best buy, or your library, etc on Mircrosoft Office. If not try the following site:
http://www.srsnova.com/category/1/ - $99

See if you can get a Student Edition, which should cost less. Talk to one of your professors and/or the college's computer department. Personally, I'd start with one of my own profs, preferably the one who seems to be the most computer-savvy.
