It is the same as if you enlisted which is 40. I was just thinking about that too with the whoöe Iran thing going on.

Well, as far as the "draft", I think they take people from 18-25. The draft is a little different from signing up (actually, a lot different). There hasn't been a draft since vietnam. I'm not sure if you're talking about the maximum sign up age for active duty or not. If that's wha you're talking about, I think it's in a person's 30s.

If the draft were reinstated I believe the ages eligable for draft would be 18-42 . 42 being the oldest age for enlistment .

If they reinstate the draft, the maximum age would be the same as if you wanted to enlist.

Several years ago when they were having trouble enlisting people they raised the age from 35 to 40.

18 is the age but there has not been a draft in many many years.

Since there is no draft - the can be no 'oldest age.'

probably about 40 after that your eyes are no good & won`t be able to shoot a barn door a 20 yards
