i was with a guy on and of for seven months who claimed he didn't want a relationship. I told him many times over that i could not be with him and every time i left he would come after me. When we tried to be friends he would get mad and be mean when i refused to hook with him , finally i got fed up and left because i was sick of the games and mental abuse and just generally being treated like his personal call girl . Well he had a few choice words for me . He even went on to tell he would never love me and then claimed he was my friend and wanted to stay my friend , i told him to go hell. A month later he starts calling me and and wants to take me out or wants to hang out and of course i say no . It amazing that after all the **** he did and said ,he thinks its okay to call and ask to hang out . He told me his birthday is coming up , should i even bother saying happy birthday , because although i care about him still , i never again want to be with him and i just want to move on

Drop it and move on. Don't play his game...acknowledging his b'day will just give him reason to keep pestering you.

I wouldn't wish him a Happy Birthday. If he sees you are paying attention he might think he still has a shot. I would just ignore him unless you can forgive him.

You have to move on. He sounds like a real jack*ss. He only treats you like sh*t because you let him. There's a ton of other guys out there that are nicer and kinder.
