Many state chapters of Certified Public Accountants have free tax help programs (usually by email). Here in Virginia, the site is:

The IRS also provides free tax assistance, but not in an interactive online format. The IRS website (IRS.gov) is helpful, you can also use the many other free programs sponsored by the IRS (see link below).
