I am 120lbs and I am trying to lose 10lbs.and I know I need to cut my calories down and walk more a day but how many calories should I be eating a day if I want to lose this weight?

I am 5'2 not really over weight or anything I just have few extra pounds left over from having my kids and would like to firm and tone up alittle.

well, no offense, but 120 pounds seems like a healthy weight, but then again, you could be abnormally short.

Let's see...
the average person is supposed to take in about 2000 calories a day, and 3000 calories is equivalent to a pound.
So, do the math.

if your a mom and you weigh 120 that's pretty darn good. u don't need to loe 10 lbs. but if you want to lose weight you can go on a 1200 calorie diet.
