I work for minimum wage,have all my life,lost my job recently to people from India, They bought the company,so there are no minimum wage jobs here,Why? because illegals took them all,So what should I do? Go on welfare too since I cant get a job cleaning toilets?

Best of luck. To all those saying 'get grants rise above it' why should she have to? We have minimum wage jobs, and our people should get them if they need them before we start importing foreigners to get them. We have people who had personal circumstances making it hard to go to school. Also, there are nowhere NEAR the level of 'grants and scholorships' available that people on this board seem to think whites and only whites have an obligation to access from the magical fund in the sky. What about people who couldn't make the grades for the scholorships? Should uneducated people from elsewhere, here illegally, be able to get jobs before our own working class?
If it is Americans saying that, I can only say 'Shame on you!'

Reflect for a little while first. If you could have any job, your dream job, what would it be? Feel free to be unrealistic. Then start taking small steps to move from where you are today to where you dream of being. Along the way you may find a new dream, achieve your original dream or learn to hope for something better.
Meanwhile, you need to pay the bills. If you have a car, you could try pizza delivery. Don't wait until you see an ad in a paper. Look around for someplace you think you would like to work, whether it's Sears, the donut place down the street, or the insurance company downtown. Call or drop by to find out if they have any availabilities. Sometimes you'll find jobs that haven't been advertised. And sometimes you'll impress people with your initiative.
Even though you may be applying for a minimum wage job, make certain to dress well for the interview. Dress as though you are somebody. Know that you are somebody. Don't talk bad about your previous employer in the interview or whine about who gets all the good jobs. Tell the employer what is special about what you can bring to the job.

Actually. American companies outsource to India. People in India don't buy American companies. And if they did...they still wouldn't be "illegals".
If you say there are NO jobs where you live, you're full of it.
So the answer is no....you should go out and apply for jobs until you get one. It may not be exactly what you want, but it will be a job.
P.s. I think it's funny how people like you argue that all the illegals come here and get on welfare.....and then in the same sentence complain that they take all the jobs, but don't pay taxes.

I understand your anger and frustration. I just have a couple of questions. How old are you? Have you ever thought about going to college? You can get loans and grants. Rise up above the minimum wage jobs. These jobs were originally intended for teenagers still in high school and elders looking to keep busy after retirement. It's sad that both of these groups are being stripped of their job opportunities because of this illegal immigration wave.

Ya....been to some employment agencies in my area and they "just speak Spanish". It's a lie when they say we need all these people.....we don't. Anything here openes up and you have 3000 showing up for a 200 jobs. Young, old, white, black, asian, latino......men, women....no shortage. Very few look "unemployable". There's just not enough jobs to go around....let alone good jobs.

Maybe go to college and get a good education. Then you can get a good job and not have to worry about an illegal taking your job. Have you tried McDonalds yet?
By the way: How come your not blaiming people from India? They are the ones who took your job right?
I'm a white girl and I get NO HELP from the government. I pay for my own D*** school.
