I think that you are being a good friend to her, and she is lucky she has someone like you to help her out. There is nothing wrong with it, provided it is not a sexual relationship.

I don't think there's a problem with that (I'm a 22 year old girl) but it totally depends on your culture. If your parents are OK with it (which they are right?) then I see absolutely no problem with it. If she's crashing in your room then...yeah that's a bit weird. But just think of flatmates who share a house/flat and they're all different ages it's the same kind of thing. Or even people who have foster brothers/sisters. It's totally OK.

Unless of course you do have feelings for her?! Then you have to have some self discipline and make sure you respect her space and her privacy. I'm sure she'll be grateful for your offer though 'cause getting chucked out is a horrible thing to go through so make sure you don't take advantage while she's a bit vulnerable.

Just don't cross any lines man. She could do some serious time if you guys end up hooking up in a state that doesn't allow that kinda silly business. Flip the situation though ... if it were a 16 year old girl and an 18 year old man - nobody'd be for it! So I have to go with no on this one. Help her find somewhere to stay ... or only let her stay for like a week ... but if you leave it open ended like that ... you guys are gonna have sex and then she'll never leave.

Do you really live by yourself at 16? Sorry to hear that. Why don't you move back home if you can and give the girl your apartment. Or you could try and determine if her parents are correct in kicking her out because she couldn't follow rules. If that is the case, I'm not really sure she is going to learn to live with other people by moving in with a 16 year old that still has a lot growing up to to.

I don not think is OK. You are only 16. Be a friend for her, be there for her, but do not get involved in her problems. The best help you can give to her encourage her to have a dialog with her parents and find a solution to the problems they are having. I am assuming you still have to finish high school, right? You are too young to raise a 18 year old girl.

The official formula is divide the older persons age by two and add seven. So 18/2 = 9 add seven and you get 16. So you are good to go.

If that is nothing sexual then I wouldn't see a problem with it except for the fact that it's to risky to do, I mean.. what if yous live together and fall for each other and happen to hug each other and then one thing turn into the next.. then she would be breaking the law and if that was discovered then she would go to jail because you are not legal :) :) :)

It been done before and everything. But if you ever want to have sex with eachother, find out ur laws age and sex stuff out! Becuz your parents could very well press charges if they were to fine out and everything!

I've moved in with my boyfriend a few years back, we were about 3 years apart as I was older, his mother approved, so when he was 16 i was almost 19! Good luck, and thank you for helping ur friend out as i know how it is to be her!

if you have to ask if its weird then maybe the two of you shouldn't live together. unless there really isn't anything going on and you will just be rooming together and not sleeping together. by the way how does a 16 year old have his own place?

If you're not having sex, it shouldn't be a problem. But if you do plan on having sex, she could get into a lot of trouble, depending on your state laws. Personally, I find it weird that a 16 year old guy is living alone.
