my friend wants to do the Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving SAFED day course but he can't find any info online, he is lokking for a trainer for this course in Preston or Chorley please help out, thanks

You need the Institute of Advanced Motorists, website below. The IAM has a national network of volunteer trainers, like myself, who help people improve their driving with a focus on Safety - fuel efficiency is certainly an aspect but is sometimes sacrificed for safety.
The second link is for the local groups in your area, I see there is one group in Preston and another in Chorley so you can take your pick. I'd recommend ringing them to ask how their observed driving scheme works, 1:1 or group (1:1 is better) whether they have a waiting list and whether they have an available Observer anywhere near you.
