Your question suggests that it may be unhealthy to be gay...or possibly that if it's healthy to be gay maybe it's unhealthy to be straight. If you're talking about healthy in the sense of sexual orientation, some people are born that way, some are not. It's not really a question of being "healthy" any more than being right-handed or left-handed. If you're talking about health issues connected with having sex, both straight and gay people should use protection. I'm not sure where the issue of health comes into the equation.

It is not unhealthy to be either gay or heterosexual. Good emotional health depends on other factors which include self confidence, self image and contentment with life in general. The degree to which you are contented in life depends on many things including the way you relate to others; the work you do; the education you hold; the ability you have to perform successfully in life.

there is nothing wrong with being gay and it doesn't mean that this love is wrong or un healthy... I do believe that being happy and loving yourself for who you are is healthiest of all... your question does a rise that your partner is not accepting of them self for who they are and they should, the healthiest thing a person can do is be proud of who they are and love their person regardless of what others think :) :) :)

It's neither healthy nor unhealthy. It is simply how some people are born. Just as being heterosexual isn't healthy or unhealthy, it's just how many people are born. We don't choose these things.

With diseases running rampid, is it healthy to be gay or straight? I don't think it matters what your sexual preference is, what really matters is that you are responsible with you and your partner.

Just as healthy as it is to be straight. Get informed..........Don't be ignorant when it comes to learning the facts. Read articles on the subject.

HEALTHLY IN WHAT SENSE?
SEXUALLY- IF DONE RIGHT ( BUT THATS FOR STRAIGHTS AND GAYS)
MENTAL- CAN HAVE SOME HARD TIMES
RAISING KIDS- HARDER FOR THE PARENT TO SEE THE KID HURT, BY GETTING BULLYED AT SCHOOL.
