A better question would be does anyone know the stats on blood type, the percentages of the American population are according to the Red Cross blood service are
O pos 38.4%
O neg 7.7%
A pos 32.3%
A neg 6.5%
B pos 9.4%
B neg 1.7%
AB pos 3.2 %
AB neg 0.7%
As you can see the most common is 0 Pos with A pos next in line.

The most common type is 'O'. That is also considered the universal type for transfusions in an emergency.
Incidentally, I am an 'O'.
