I am asking to get an idea... I think Type A is the most popular... but I heard that Type O is very popular as well.

o negeative rhesus- parently the rarest type in the UK but not sure on the commonest looking on your results i would guess at A.

A better question would be does anyone know the stats on blood type, the percentages of the American population are according to the Red Cross blood service are

O pos 38.4%
O neg 7.7%
A pos 32.3%
A neg 6.5%

As you can see the most common is 0 Pos with A pos next in line.

The most common type is 'O'. That is also considered the universal type for transfusions in an emergency.
Incidentally, I am an 'O'.
