She will just have to make the best of it. It may seem like torture at first, but being 6 weeks long that will give her time to get into the flow of things and she will see that other people hate writing as well, and hate showing other people their writing. She'll realize she's not alone and that everyone has to deal with it. Being a year younger shouldn't really affect her because everybody has different levels of intelligence at different ages. It's just something to adjust to.

If shes a year younger than everyone else in the class she must have talent in writing . Honestly she should stand with her head up tall and read what shes wrote after a while she'll get used to reading out loud and be more confident in her work . It wont be easy to being with but im sure it will be ok in the end .

Tell her to use her skills and they need to be:

1. Outline the chapter - by using 3x5 cards - with a question on one side, and her answer (from the book and notes) on the other.
She can do this to keep up with the schedule.

2. Writing is easy as 1, 2 & 3:
- Tell them what you are going to tell them, for example.
I want to teach you how to do a research paper.
- Tell them
You may do a research paper now much easier than in the past because we have the internet sources of google.com and yahoo search.
- Summarize
Today research papers include up to date information from online sources. We now have the option to do the papers in the privacy of our home - using our home computer - and we have worldwide access to news, stories, countries and pictures that we can instantly use for sources and up-to-date pictures.

Tell her to make sure she gives credit to anyones quotes she takes or notes from other papers. When I had to write 20 page papers: cut and paste is great just as long as you give credit to the writers, don't want to be charge for plagiarism.
