My father was adopted and i want to look up his real parents...i have their full names approxamate birth & death years,and the state/county they lived & died in.

The town hall is a great option,but not for me!! lol I want to find it on the internet if that is possioble.

Hey Tokenwhtgirl,

You can get birth certificates from the town/city/county Vital Records keepers. If you cannot locate this place, the State records can be obtained by mail, here is an internet site that you put in the state, then get the form, and follow the instructions. You can get the death records too. Try the LDS Family Search site to get a better idea of their dates.

If you had listed the county and state, I could have given you the place to get the records.

easiest way to get started is to go to the social security death index site http://ssdi.rootsweb.com/ and look them up. you can order the records online. it will give you employment information, names of parents, birth places, and other helpful genealogical information. it will cost between 27 and 29 per record.
