You can always try hotjobs or monster, or AICHE's home page. A better way to go about it is to decide what kind of chemical engineering you'd prefer to be doing. Do you want to be a process engineer, a project engineer, or do research? Would you be happier doing distillation or chemical vapor deposition? Narrow down your search by figuring out what aspects of chemical engineering you truly enjoy, and then tailor your job search to match those criteria. For instance, suppose you're interested in distillation. Well, Cargill does a ton of ethanol distillation. Go to their website and either fill out an online application or, better yet, find out when a rep will be recruiting at your school or one nearby and go talk to him or her. The trick to getting a job is to separate yourself from a pile of resumes. Go to plants and talk to people, go to job fairs and talk to recruiters, go to the employment counselor at your school and see what they might be able to set up. But decide what you really want to do, and then find companies that are a match for you. Once you've done that it's all a question of getting a foot in the door. Don't be afraid to accept a 6 month internship at low pay, so long as you're willing to learn and work hard you'll do great.

Use your college's career placement program. Any institute offering ChemE as a program of study would have some type of department to help their alumni find jobs.

If you're somewhat removed from your college, try the online job boards or join a local professional organization (AIChE springs to mind).

Move to Houston. Tons of people looking for chemical engineers. New grad could probably make $60,000 easily.
