I broke up with my friend over three years ago and yet everytime I see him he talks about how I did him wrong and talks as if he wants another chance. He is in his 60s and said he loves me more then he has ever loved anyone. And this part I know is true. Others know its true too. He was my bestfriend and everything else. But I left him and started talking to some one else. And that hurt him. He use to do a lot for me. But I really miss the freind in him I had.

Sounds as if he is being sincere, but also that he has not forgotten how you hurt him. If you go back to him, he just might always bring it up so as to constantly get reasurrance from you that you will not hurt him again. Just start off by being his friend and make this very clear to him so that there will be no misunderstandings later. Then see where the relationship goes. Best to you and him!

He sounds kind of sick. 3 years later and he's still blaming you? Weird. Actually, if YOU did him wrong, shouldn't YOU be wanting another chance, rather than HIM?

There is no question of revenge. Obviously he is missing you. He was hurt. You must see your circumstances. Whether you feel love for him.Give him chance.

Just tell him that there is no chance that you will be together again but you truly value your friendship and want to remain friends with him. If he cannot do it, then just tell him that he has to move on with his life as you have move on with yours.

if you realy love him ,you can give to him a second chace,but I beleve you must olsow vhait a time to see if ie true what he speack about his love for you.
