My doc gradually weaned me off Welbutrin. I had little problems going off it, though I would get hot flashes. No big deal.

It made me sick so I had to stop taking it and I got headaches and upset stomach so I switched to chantix it works too. no side affects for me everyone I know got sick and the reason why was we were all taking Welbutrin. Hope this helps.

If it was controlling your symptoms and you go off they all will slowly come back and some may get worse. This was my experience when I went off of it last year and stayed off for about 10 months.

haven't tried wellbutrin, but have been on paxil, prozac, lithium, and zoloft. anti-deppressents are hard to get off from. guess we take them for a reason. need to stay on them.
