My hair is straight, and the strands are very thin so it seems like i don't have much hair. Is it possible at all to get this look with my type of hair? even if it isn't, can somebody tell me how this style is done?

My mother used to wash my hair at night and then plait it. In the morning it was nice and wavy. Try that it :-) It should work really well.

I have the same kind of hair. It's not impossible to do, but it is definitely a pain!
Try dirtying up your hair a bit (try spraying it with hairspray but comb it so it doesnt all stick together) and make sure the curling iron is as hot as it gets before you start.
Then just curl your hair like you would normally, but just doing the bottoms.

Take a section of hair, probably about an inch -2 inches and spray each section (lightly) w/ hairspray. Use a straightener and curl, just like you would w/ a curling iron.
