Does anyone know of an on-call evening / overnight babysitting service?

It really depends on where you live. I'd try looking in the phonebook under "ChildCare." Do you want them to come to your location, or do you want to take your child to their site?

There are some drop-off sites at some local malls, and sometimes at the Family Y if you have access to them, but they are not likely to be overnight. Good luck, it can be difficult to find on an intermittent basis.
