She does have warrants out for her in Marion County, but they are so overrun that they don't consider her a threat. She has a criminal past with at least 20 incidents and that doesn't even include all the bad checks that she wrote. Her bond is set at $5000 SR. I am wanting to know if anyone knows what kind of time she could be facing. This is her first offense for Hendricks county, but as I said she has a lengthly one for Marion county. Will that come into play at all?

I know that. She needs to be in jail to get herself clean. She is very bad and she will probably die if she stays out where she has been. I'm just hoping they don't just give her probation, because that will not work.

She was arrested in Marion County on the warrant for Hendricks County. She is still in Marion county awaiting transport to Hendricks County. Marion County does not care that she has warrants there. I talked to a sheriff's deputy and he told me that the jail is too overcrowded and she is not a threat. Hendricks county wants her for the check deception. It has to be at least 3 counts. She is very bad and yes she is on drugs. If this gives you a hint she went from 180lbs. down to 119lbs. She also got a ticket for prostitution in Marion County, but thats all they did for that. Im thinking that all of this is going to come into play and she will serve some time. She was already on probation for battery in Marion County before and violated it, so I'm sure that's in her file. I just hope maybe she will get some time...stop thinking she can get away with anything....and straighten her butt up.

She was probably looking at a misdemeanor, but the State will get wind of all her other charges before court, trust me, and then there's a possibility she may be a probation violation. If so she'll do more time. If she is not a probation violator, she can expect to be on probation for an extended period of time.

You've stated your cousin has warrants in one county but she's in another. It sounds like the warrants in Marion County haven't been executed because they are what would be referred to as "in county only" warrants. Meaning that they don't wish to extradite out of county to serve the warrants. Very common throughout the US. More importantly, it sounds like your cousin is bouncing checks due to a more serious problem maybe associated with drug abuse if I read between the lines correctly. Until that problem is solved, the bad check writing will continue. The judge normally dislikes putting a defendant in jail for bad checks since multiple offenders won't receive restitution if the offender is in jail. However, serious offenders can be sent to jail until restitution is paid.

Probably will come into play. It will show up that she is habitual offender and that will be a factor. Just because the offenses were in different counties does not mean the police wont know or use it in court..
