I'm a native in southern California (L.A). Over this past weekend it was very, very cold. In fact, the news said it hasn't been this cold since the 1930's.

Anyways, on Saturday morning while I was outside doing errands, my feet were very cold. I was wearing sneakers. It was cold enough that they felt uncomfortable to walk. They felt numb. When I got home, I warmed up my feet and noticed that some of my toes and areas of my foot were very white. After 20 minutes later, they went back to normal. Later that day, I went out with some friends, I wore boots. I should've stayed indoor, because after a while coming from home, I had the same problem. I don't smoke and I don't drink. Also, I haven't been stressed.

Doing research on Raynaud's I hear it's more common for people in the midwest where it's cold, so I wasn't too sure if I had this or not. Also, I don't know what form it is. Hopefully just a temporarily one. I'm not freaked out by this, but it got my attention.

It does sound a little like Raynauds syndrome. The best thing for you to do is go to the doctor. My mother has a condition where Raynauds was a symptom of it and it can be a little nasty. So please go get checked out and BUNDLE UP!

Raynaud's Syndrome at least to me has been nothing more than a nuisance. It helped when diagnosing my Lupus. Go to the doctor and have an ANA done. Many times Raynaud's is a symptom to more serious illnesses.

Hope not but, its better to be safe then sorry!! Good Luck

Raynaud's is pretty serious and it causes great discomfort. You probably just have poor circulation like I do. I always have cold hands and feet and I was told it wasn't Raynauds.

raynauds disease effects the skin appearence when it gets cold. People with this problem will experience white fingertips or purple when it gets cold. This is due to decrease in blood flow to the affected area.

Consult a doctor. Sounds a lot like Reynauds. Same thing in your hands as well?

It would be wise to discuss this with your Dr. It is hard to diagnose someone including yourself just using the Internet.
Good luck with whatever is going on.
