they scratch much more than the mat ones dont do it

I've been in my house for approximately 1 year and I have the formica sheets, it is very durable (but always use a cutting board no matter what the surface) and it is exceptionally easy to keep clean. Visit your local hardward store (we bought ours at Home Depot) for the greatest selection. They will be able to tell you what is best to suit your needs. They should have a very large selection of colors as well.

When asking someone prfessional to do the job, always ask for unscratchable surfaces like FORMICA ones. This is a great product and we use them a lot in Puerto Rico; where we love cooking and entertaining.

They scratch slightly but if you use a granite look its really not noticeable
