Haha. sure, It quite can. I had a sore throat and it became killing me. And it WASNT a strepth throat, It became sore. I couldnt devour or drink or it would want to of harm. My mom made me gargle salt water and it became the funniest second ever. I gargled it and spit it out in my moms face because it became no longer sturdy. I didnt swallow yet i might want to flavor it and it became undesirable! each day I did it and my mom stated if I spit it out i'd be grounded. She wouldnt floor me for that, She's only doing it to make me gargle. I did it for some days and my sore throat became extra useful. So, Yeah, It helps out. Do it for like, a minute two times or 3 cases an afternoon. relying on how a lot it hurts ya.

Since those things havn't worked you should see you doctor because it could be strep and only meds will help. When I get a sore throat I drink lots of OJ It doesn't help with the pain but it seems not to last as long. might have something to do with the Vit. C in it. Also try Zinc lozenges. They don't have a great after taste but they help.

If you have post nasal drip, your throat will still be sore. Try taking a decongestant if this is the case. If you see white spots on the back of your throat, you need to make an appointment with the doctor for a strep test.
