Put an ad in the paper. There are likely many Korean students or others who would love to make some extra money teaching some of the basics of Korean. If there are Asian grocery stores, you could also put up a notice asking for a tutor. In addition, if there are nieghborhoods that have large numbers of Koreans, there will be Korean churches there that may have people who give Korean lessons or even schools that primarily focus on teaching kids that have Korean heritage, but don't actually know the language well.

Good luck.

I recommend one of those electronic dictionaries. I found one in Seoul at Yongsan for about $100. Use it to translate and read short story books. There are also some good websites online for basic vocabulary. Try the quizzes at http://iteslj.org/v/k/ They are really easy and fun. That's how I learned basic colors and animals and so forth. Nothing beats a patient Korean listener. If you find that kind of teacher, never let them go.
