Go to your music folder .....right click and go to properties....then uptop it will have yuor current player and a change button beside it. click on change and go down to list to selsct music windows player then click apply and ok.....that is it...alll of your files will play with WMP! Good Luck!

Right click on a music or video file.
Select Open With...
Select Windows Media Player.
Check the box: Always use the selected program to open this kind of file.
Click OK.

Open windows media player go to Tools>options> click the tab file types and hit select all, then hit ok

go to start menu
click on the control panel
then click on add or remove programs
then go to set program access and defaults
there is setting for everything in there

in the drop down go to
MORE OPTION
then
FILE TYPES
check the ones you want WMP to be the default for.
APPLY
