No, I would not. The beliefs of christianity are diametrically opposed to mine. Besides, their bible says "thou shalt not be unequally yoked together with non-believers".. they're not supposed to date non-christians.

I am a Christian. But I can answer the question because it's not always a matter of whether you want to or not, it's a matter of religion.
Committed Muslims [for example] marry people of the same religion, usually chosen by their parents (but with the daughter's/son's consent).
And this is so for other religions too.
But if there were not laws about marriage to different religions, then I'm sure many people would have opposing views.
If you 'like' someone who is of opposite religion to you, you may have to consider their duties to their religion.
Or do you mean people who are athiests? That is a matter of preference.
Good luck,
Lorna

Depends on the degree to which that person is religious.
If they claim to be Christian and don't try to force feed it to those around them...not even an issue.
If they claim to be Christian and want to convert everyone else...not a chance I'd date them.
If they claim to be Christian then go about doing immoral acts...again, not a chance as this now becomes a question of trust.

Gosh, I misread the question. I think of everyone as Christian. I suppose the two could date where dating is a small sharing of time between two people.

I was going to date someone who was a christian before and with me being a atheist she said it would be a bad idea...sooner or later I won her over with my charm though.
So religion really had nothing to do with it I think she just has the wrong impression on what a atheist was...

No, first and for most a women must be able to carry on a witty and intelligent conversation for me to be interested in her. Moreover honesty is also very very important for me.
I have yet to meet many, if any, Christians that hold these as a strong suit.

I have in the past. I certainly wouldn't date someone who was fundamentalist now. I don't need to be told that I'm going to hell every day, or have someone try to convert me or tell me that I'm evil.
But at any rate, I'm very happy with my ex-Catholic, agnostic boyfriend, and I wouldn't trade him for any denomination (not even a Wiccan).

Yes because people dont come together just to share religious beliefs - do they?
Not in my opinion. I'm an atheist but I believe in a secular culture - not necessarily a 'humanist' one because that, to me, implies a lack of freedom.
