There is not a single prophecy in the O.T. nor N.T. that has not been fulfilled (save the Lord's return). The amazing accuracy of these fulfillments can not be overlooked, yet people still will not believe. Some of the prophecies were written centuries before their fulfillments, by different men, from different backgrounds, on scrolls that were later discovered and dated to their precise time period, proving that God will always preserve His Word as He promised. I am not trying to offend anyone, honestly, but won't you seek the truth for yourself? Sincerely study both sides of the issue. The Bible says that those who do not want to see...will remain blind. The Bible is not a religious Book but a Kingdom Book that tells the story of the history of mankind, and what the future holds in store. Don't you think it is worth your time to open your heart to it's message?

you are right an if you read the old testament as well as the new you can see how so many prophesies were for-filled in Jesus life and death. it takes time to read it properly but is well worth the effort.

The Bible says pi is exactly 3, that's perfectly accurate? The Bible talks about mythological creatures, such as unicorns, as if they are real, that's perfectly accurate?

Having studied the Bible in college for several years, I can tell you that many prophecies, such as Daniel, were written after the fact (Daniel is talking about the Maccabees, not modern Israel) and the Gospels were very well likely written to make Jesus look like he fulfilled the prophecies of the Old Testament.

Nothing outside the Bible validates any prophecy made by the Bible. Since the Bible is, of course, biased to itself, such statements as you make are incorrect.

Your statement that "scrolls that were later discovered and dated to their precise time period" is a blatant lie, none of the scrolls of the Bible are the originals; and if "dating" is correct, that same dating invalidates the age of the world stated in Genesis (i.e., 6000 years), dating shows the world to be billions of years old. You can't have your cake and eat it, too.

I am a southern Baptist turned Buddhist. I've read the bible three times and find it to be nothing more then an over exaggerated fairy tale. Of course everything in both testaments took place in Iraq, Persia, and Syria. That was the cradle of life in that time period. I don't see how any prophecy about that place couldn't come true over a period of 2000 years. Those so called prophecies are about as broad as the morning horoscope.
Further more. How can you worship a dictator? What kind of god says worship me or burn in hell forever. If god had so much power over sat en, why did he not stop him from destroying his creation? Your so called god doesn't exist. If he did then he has a sick sense of humor.
My advise to you is reevaluate your faith. It is placed in a false god. Jesus was just a man, a leader of a cult gone wrong. If I hurt your feelings then I'm sorry, sometimes the truth hurts.

Have you made a thorough study of some of the world's other great religions ? If you don't . you're shooting in the dark. It's easy to say that whatever you believe is true, everything else is a lie. The other guy is just as sure of his beliefs, He has his "holy" book too.
An ignorant person is always sure of his beliefs. An intelligent person has doubts, and keeps on looking for answers.
By the way, a great many statements in the bible have been proven to be far from accurate.

The Bible is not perfectly accurate, and any argument that says it is seems delusional. The contradictions and inaccuracies in the Bible could fill another book. Any so called fulfilled prophecies are only fulfilled because they are so vague that many examples could be made to fit, or because people had access to the text (like that Jewish mystical cult 2000 years ago, Christians I think they were called). One cannot even get through the first two chapters of Genesis without running into irreconcilable contradiction. The Bible is dead.

Wow, you are serious. I thought for sure when I saw the "Bible is perfectly accurate" bit someone was being a little sarcastic. So, if the bible is 100% accurate, do you eat shellfish? Because they are "an abomination" according to the bible. Have you performed your "wave offering" today? The bible says that this will be "a statute for ever". If I were you, I would go get some birds and cut them up and burn them on an altar before god any more gets angry at you. Its all right there in black and white.

You just contradicted just about every Christian out there. Most even here on Y/A will say the Old testament is full of unfulfilled prophecies.

It is easy for a book to be accurate in things when it is written hundreds of years after the fact and then claim to be written hundreds of years before that fact.

The bible is not accurate and is full of contradictions, just read it from cover to cover a few times.

Interestingly, some of them have been fulfilled multiple times.
1000 years ago, they were saying that they were in the end times because all of the prophecies had come true.
Now, 1000 years later, they are saying the same thing....with different interpretations of fulfillment of those prophecies.
I suppose 1000 years from now, christians will still be claiming fulfillment of prophecies from different, future events.
That's the beauty of subjective interpretation; you can always change your mind.

The Bible is not necessarily accurate, there is a difference between John and Matthew for instance. This is because it was written about 50 years after Jesus' death. But the Bible took many years of writing and re-writing from documents, descendants of people who lived. And of course, God's influence.

The bible is anything but perfectly accurate; in fact, it has hundreds of errors, as well as scores of internal contradictions. I figured out when I was eight years old that the bible could not be reconciled with science, and since science is obviously right (it works!), the bible had to go. Obviously, this is not rocket science.
