I have a DVD recorder, but the DVD I record can not be seen on other DVD players.?

I recorded movie, but i have 3 other DVD players on other rooms, that won't play the recorded DVD

common problem

most dvd players can only play DVD-R
and not DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD RAM

so make sure it not on one of those discs
some DVD players cannot even play DVD-R

yeah, its important to finalize it too
