like for example the electric slide...cha cha song or whatever its called, the chicken dance....my plan to is to give the dj a list of those stupid little annoying songs so that they don't get played at my wedding!! If you can remember any please let me know!!!!

I gave my band a list of those too. I absolutely hate those cheezey songs as well. A few I added are "Daddy's Little Girl" "Macarena" any "COngo" kind of song, and I don't like that little "The Bride Cuts The Cake" jingle either.

We told our DJ no specifically to Chicken Dance, Macarena, and ANY other stupid song like it, without listing each one. The DJ will catch your drift.

Don't forget the Hustle and Achy Breaky Heart, Hokey Pokey. Ask him if he has a list that he usually uses and if you can look it over. That way, you can be very definite about what gets played if you don't want it.

I happen to like all those songs - they get people to dance. The best one is THE HUSTLE.
