Toslink just wondering if Toslink is a brand or type of cable. or if i can use just any optical cable

i guess what i am asking on the xbox site it says i need a Toslink optical cable , can i use any optical cable as long as it is optical or does it have to be "toslink"

Toslink is the name of the connection that is on an optical cable. You'll need an optical cable that has a toslink jack on it. It's basically that simple.

I use a optical cable, and it works great for me,
it uses the full 5.1
