Love it!! Been exhibiting there for 15 yrs, only missed 2, one when our dogs breeder was the judge and one when the dog was too young to qualify in time. Be there on first day with our Spinone, he qualified at his first show, he'll be just 10 months old at Crufts. Doesn't really matter if we are placed although we always have been it is just a great day out!

I bought tickets last year but sadly had to sell them as our daughter was sick. Would love to go though. Seeing all those stunning dogs at their best..one day i plan to get a dog competing there... Your not sad. I count the days every year til the next show. Watching the Flyball and agility..great. And all the new features they've bought in..like the rescue dog agility team, awards for best therapy dog etc...its done so well with no harm to the animals..truly a great tradition that will be carried on for years to come!

you`re not alone. my hubby & I have been going for the last 12 years. Mainly to see working dogs but have also gone to the gundog days. It`s not just about the dogs, we spend fortune on the trade stands. It`s a fab day out. This year we`ll be going on the Friday....have even booked a days holiday!!!

we went last year, to look around, really enjoyed it. Unfortunatly my mum is in hospital so we would be going this year as we planned, fingers cross that we make it next year. (she will be in at least 6 weeks)
It was great to see so many different breeds, a few i havent heard of, one of my dogs, breeder was the judge for her breed, which was nice to see.
I always record it and watch it in the evening when i am on my own. Can't wait.

I have never been but watch it on tv every year.
Do you know if you can take a dog there who is not being showed? I would like to go but can't leave my pooch at home by himself.
It is such a great show.

Me and my man always watch it on telly - I keep threatening to get tickets but never get round to it. We have a cocker spaniel so I am always watching the gun dog bit - obviously, none of them look as good as our boy does - well not from our sofa anyway. Have a great time.

nope you are definitely not saddo's,we've got three of our Mastiffs entered, and are very excited, although shopping can be manic, and you definitely have to wear flat very comfortable shoes, and be ready for the crowds,
WE LOVE CRUFTS YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY

No Maria690, you cannot take your own dog. Only exhibitors dogs allowed. I go every year without fail, and get someone to stay at my house for the day and keep my dogs company!
