After you clicked "Select All", was there an option to "upload to computer"? You should have done this before disconnecting the camera from the computer.
Go to your computer, open Windows Explorer or My Computer (or whatever you use to browse files on your computer). Search for and open the folder "My Pictures" and check any subfolders here. If your pictures made it onto your computer, this is where they would be.
If that doesn't work, read the user's guide that came with your camera, and then try repeating the process.
Without knowing what sort of camera you have or exactly what you did, we can't help you any further. If you still can't find your pictures, ask a tech-savvy friend to help you.

As answerer 2 suggests search for the pics.
This can be done by going to "my computer"
Then to the top of the screen and clicking the search button
Put a check in the "search for images box"
Go down to advanced options and put select todays date only in the "modified when" boxes "from" and "to".
That will bring up all the pictures that have gone onto your computer today also tell you the location of them so you know in future.

Did your pc ask to which folder the pictures should be saved? If it did, you will them there. Otherwise try " My pictures".
Loading pictures on a pc should never leave the memory card void. Perhaps you actually made a mistake.

Check in "my pictures". If that doesn't work, then go to "start" then "search", then "files and folders" Once you are there type in the brand of your camera (for example kodak) and see if a folder comes up. I have a kodak and that is how I found mine! Good Luck

They are probably in a folder associated with the camera software. Search for your camera name and see if they are stored in those files.

don't disconnect the camera until the computer prompts you that it is ok to do so. Might be able to search your computers jpg files to find them if they were saved.

You probably didnt save them to a folder. All you do is put them in a folder and save and your done. then you go to edit my info and pick a picture from that folder. :)
