Start standing still, and then go faster and faster until you can do it at full speed. There are two ways to do it.
This is the easier one, but learn to do both.
1. Dig your picks in just a little.
2. Twist your hips and push with one pick
3. Skate backwards
This is the second one
1. Stand on one skate
2. Twist around (you may need to dig in your pick)
3. Skate backwards

Do you know how to do Mowhawks or Three-turns?
Mowhawk: Start skating forward and place your right foot on the ice, then put your left foot in a T-position on the inside of your foot, where your arch is. Put your left foot on the ice and then pick up your right foot, and you should be going backwards. Of course you can reverse it by putting your left foot down and then stepping onto your right.
Three turns are a little too hard to explain just by words, so I would suggest buying the book Figure Skating: Championship Techniques by John Misha Petkevich. It's a wonderful book that covers all aspects of skating from falling down properly to Death Drops and triple Lutzes.
Good luck!

You can always do a "3" turn. That's where you start stating forward and try to make a 3 with your skate. When you get to the middle of the 3 and have to backtrack a bit to do the other half circle, just start going backwards. It's hard to explain...sorry.
When I was younger in lessons, they always took a marker and drew a 3 on the ice so we could visualize it and follow the line with our skate. You could try that to get the hang of it.

It's been a while and I hope someone can give you a more detailed answer than me. Basically you pick one leg and turn it around so that the other side of the blade points in the direction you were going. Your momentum will carry you backward. Like everything else, the first few times you try it you will end up on your ***, but stay with it.

it is grade 3! Wow, I had to do them in my first ever skating lesson! Sculling is many times stated as lemons or pizzas simply by ( ) ( ) ( ) shape. unquestionably you purely might desire to circulate your ft in circles lower back and lower back, in case you have hassle doing this on the start then attempt skating forwards or backwards then do them. to start i might say stand like a penguin or ballerina with the two ft declaring, then push outwards further, and convey them around right into a circle shape, repeat repeatedly. wish this facilitates x

You just bend your knees, turn your head behind you , and then try and turn your feet so you are facing the other way (backwards).
