A friend of mine won't eat peanuts before bed because she thinks they containe cafffeine.

Nope--peanuts do not contain caffeine. But as planters.com says, chocolate covered peanuts DO contain caffeine since chocolate has caffeine. Send this link to your friend and tell her to enjoy peanuts as a midnight snack!

No! I buy natural pb and the only thing in it is peanuts which contain no caffeine.

I'll tell you that I had to look up the same thing in the past because they have the same effect as a cup of espresso for me. Something in nuts does that to some people.

No. Peanuts contain philosophy (Linus), simple, perhaps naive, goodness (Charlie), strength (Lucy), loyalty (Marcie), sportsmanship (Patty), music (Shroeder) and even a bit of lovable human weakness (Pigpen).
