Of course. Jesus said "Physician, heal thyself" but I doubt he meant that literally. Think of it this way - doctors regularly excuse themselves from cases where they are too close to the people involved. They might not be able to see to make judgments as clearly as they should.
Also, I believe that doctors are not allowed to prescribe medicines for themselves (may not be legal, may be an ethical thing). There have been cases where a doctor prescribes himself a tranquilizer or something, and gets hooked because it is now freely available to him. Here's some more information on that:

Yes. A Doctor in one field goes to a specialist in another field for treatment e.g. a neurosurgeon goes to dentist for dental treatment.After all a doctor doesn't learn everything!!

ya doctors have doctors. a paraticular field specialist goes to another when he is in need of some other organ/field specialist when he is in trouble...

yes they do. i have always heard doctors make the worst patients. dont know if its true or not.
