it's basically shaved on the sides and back with a little left on the top. Clean cut. my husband does it all the time because he's in the military.

My husband wears his high and tight and it is sooooo hot! You see it mostly on marines, although he's a navy man. But a typical military haircut must be cut above the ears and cannot touch the collar, and no fads (dye, spikes, mohaks, etc.)

They have to shave their head in boot camp but they're not required to wear the high and tight after they're in the army.
