most of the time they really aren't doing those things. they just want to get a rise out of people and they get lots of enjoyment out of seeing all those answers calling them names and stuff. if nobody posts anything to those questions they will probably stop appearing and we can all be happy here!

don't even report them, they get a high off of that too. and if someone is really going to abuse an animal, do you think that they would be telling about it on here or really be discoraged by people telling them not to do it....I wish there was a way for them to be checked out by the ASPCA for everytime someone does that here but it's not going to happen....they just want to anger people and get a rise out of them. if we stop responding at all to them they will eventually stop because they aren't getting the reaction they want.

i think people are just stupid and they need something to do. i'm fed up with all these people who talk about how their animal is sick and want to know what to do. What is always the answer? take em to the vet. why cant people go through and look at all the other responses to these questions?
because their stupid

I don't think that literally people are abusive, but comedy and laughter to a post that is funny is what draws attention to your post and so you have to not take it seriously.

This is a pro and con type of thing because comedy in an adult nature is one thing, but kids come on here to so it is best to keep the jokes clean ;However if the post about a Animal is a serious question believe it or not you will get comedy still even after you have said serious answers only.

This is America and they exercise their freedom of speech pretty hard sometimes. I find it quite amusing myself and use comedy allot on some questions, but here's the thing. If you have a serious need for an answer, where would you think is the proper place to out it rather than the category it calls for?

Unfortunately, its like a train wreck, or Lindsay Lohan in the headlines....frightening, terrible, or just plain annoying, but you can't look away.

Most people don't respond to encourage them, but they can't seem to separate away the part that logically tells them that if they respond at all, it is a form of encouragement.

Many folks just get outraged to a point where they have to speak their minds, even though in hindsight most of what those people post is BS anyway, and a means to get a response, so they basically have just played into what the originator of such BS wanted in the first place.

Its a no-win situation...trolls will be trolls.

I agree about some people just wanting to get everything stirred up. I usually report them. I hope none of them are really doing those things because it's said that those that hurt animals will start doing cruel things to people next. Many serial killers started hurting animals first from what I understand.

I don't answer and usually report it. If I think that abuse has taken place I will contact legal aid and other sources to have it checked out. Depending on the abuse they WILL check it out. I have heard where they have been able to track it down and prosecute.
Some people have a sick sense of humor but that does not excuse the behavior. If they want to be funny then do it on myspace.

I think people are posting to discourage those few people that are really sick enough to do the things they ask about. If we all just ignored every single one of the questions, that one sicko out there may still torture animals and think it's fine!

I'd rather respond to 5,000 false claims than ignore the 1 true one.
