I went out with this guy I met over the internet and we went to a bar. We had a good conversation and then he asked me what did i think about him and i said "i think you're cute and i'm really having a good time" then i asked him the same question and he said "you're cute and I wanna hang out with you more".
At the end of the night he just gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek...

He did nothing wrong but show you he truely respects you and your space. Snaps to him for not being a pig and wanting just a one night stand.

He's is a gentleman!!! Either that or he wants to give you the impression that he is a gentleman so that you will go out with him again. As guys we know your interested, after all you told him he was cute and you enjoyed his company. If he is looking for a relationship then he will continue to be the sweet guy he was on your first date. If your next meeting he is a little bolder and trying more then be weary, he may just want to get in your pants.

I don't know why I don't have more best anwers on my record. I am telling ya'll some good ****!!!! Some can call me a hater, an Uncle Tom, whatever. Those are the guys who are still into playin games. I don't speak on something I have not done in the past. All the Hurt and BS I put all those girls through was a learning/growing experience but I look back now and regret a lot of the choices I made. Keep your guard up for now, give him a few more dates and take it from there. He will show his true colors on the next date trust me!

I met my boyfriend (been 8 mths now) on the computer. We went out and had a great time the first night we met. Closed down the coffe shop! Allwe did was hug that night.. He was very sweet. He wanted to take things slow for my benifit. Was really trying to respect me and all. Dont worry. He is taking things slow with you which is nice. It will happen on the 2nd date or so. Make the first move even if you think the time is right!
Good luck to you!

"JUST gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek"... JUST?

Sounds more than enough to me. Very close, in fact. What do you expect? I wouldn't even TOUCH a person I had just met for the first time! My boyfriend and I were normal friends for 3 years before we got into a relationship and the first time we hugged was last year...

Sounds like he's interested in getting to know you more. It's akward to kiss on the first date, and maybe he wants to show you respect as a lady :) If things go well the kisses will come, just give it time and be happy with him.

Sounds like you've found yourself a gentleman with the confidence to take things slowly! I didn't get a kiss from my husband until our 3rd date, well, the 3rd day we went out... all in a 4 day period. When he finally kissed me, I knew I'd marry him. So, it may not be a bad thing at all, he may just be the real deal finally. Maybe.

I think that the guy respects you. What did you expect him to do, sleep with you? Your date seemed to go well. Give him the 3 days to call, if he doesn't than you know he doesn't want to date you again.

If he doesn't kiss you, it's probably because he likes to take dating s-l-o-w-l-y and wants a emotional relationship with you as well (not just physical).

Or it could mean that he doesn't want to date you again (3 days to call again).

Good luck

Does not mean anything. Some people still know how to date - not many I'll agree. Don't try to rush things - if you both like each other and had a good time go out again.

I don't think you should worry about it. Obviously he likes you and respects you and he is definately a true gentleman. Looks you picked a winner!!
