Yes it's possible. But probably not by you. That can only be done at a very good repair center and maybe only back at the factory.
Before you go repairing it be sure to find out what the estimated cost is. The way digital camera prices are dropping you may be able to buy a newer better camera for what it would cost for repair.
Think about replacement rather than repair. If it's a 3 megapixel camera and it would cost you $100 to have it repaired and for another $100 or $150 you could get a 5 or 6 megapixel with 10X optical and 30X digital zoom. Repair is probably not worth it.

Not by yourself. You'll need the parts which are specific to your camera. And the image sensor is extremely delicate. But, should you have a problem with your CCD, your camera manufacturer should be able to replace your CCD should it be necessary. Otherwise, it would be near impossible. On the other hand, the costs of repairing a camera isn't worth it, it's more economical to replace the camera entirely. That way, you get a new camera while you're at it since you're spending so much money anyway. Replacing the CCD in your camera on your own (as a non-professional) is almost impossible because you'll need to find the image sensor specific to your camera, next, you have to problem of placing in the delicate sensor, which I think will be impossible.
