Girl, it NEVER used to be squat! Men will always take and take. It's what they do. Even if you think you have a good one. One way or another you will be the one doing most of the work in the relationship. Treat your man how he treats you to keep everything on equal footing. I learned this the hard way. I never give anymore than I'm getting. Period. It's the only way they learn. You can nag, cry and whine all you want but it will fall on deaf ears with men. Do them like they do you. Give only as good as you get.

See, this is funny because for years all I tried to be was the perfect gentleman and it didn't get me anywhere. Then I noticed all these women, just getting drunk sleeping around, wasting money, reading these crazy glamour magazines worshiping celebrities so I changed and became a jerk and met a real nice gal. Now, after that I tried to become my old self again after we got comfortable with each other. And she said if you weren't such a jerk, loud mouth, arrogant individual we probably wouldn't have met. But now we are both normal. This whole society is wacked out.

I think it's because many women , for whatever reason, have such a low opinion of themselves that they feel that this is the ONLY life they deserve. Until all women begin to see themselves as worthy of much better treatment, then there will, unfortunately be a steady stream of women who will become involved in these "businesses". By the way, since you've asked that question, let me ask YOU one. Why is there such a huge male demand for these "services"? Could it be that males feel so badly about themselves that they feel that only visiting prostitutes can make them feel better? I wonder!!!!

Not me, im very generious in a relationship ill always go out of the way to make the girl im with feel special by doing little things every once in a while like taking her to a special place for some adventure or buying her something that I notice catches her eye when shes window shopping. Things like that, I always have a great relationship that way and me and my gf will stay happy.

I could be wrong but I would first look at the type of men you are interested in and keep picking. You may just be attracted to those that share the same traits. Communication and getting to know someone before committing to anything beyond dating is required in my opinion.

your absolutely right, guess that is why they tell us not to commit and give it for free unless we are married to them and have a ring. but even marriage is no guarantee anymore. think it lies in the choices we make, the ones we settle for, think it's all about our choice in men, we often times pass right by the ones who will be good to us, and go for the ones who are the takers. just get to know them better, don't sleep with them until they marry u, anyway know this sounds so unrealistic, especially in the world as it is today. but if we all held onto it, and waited for the best to come along, we might do better in life, being in lust and being infatuated with someone isn't love, its just immature bull....

It doesnt seem but its true that today's man just wants to take and not give anything in return. Sex has just been reduced to animal behaviour without the essence of love in it. Nowadays we talk about having sex rather than making love. Humans are loosing their values....its high time now that we get back to our roots of love, sincerity and selflessness.
