Not much on eBay in your price range, but here's the search.

Look for 'parts car' in the description.

As far as local dealers, I don't know where you are, so I can't help you there.

Good luck!

Good luck...

The cars that have survived in your price range are going to be frame-up restoration jobs. Your best sources are going to be

eBay: I just checked and there actually are several impalas for under $1000. I used " impala (1964,64) " as a search and started looking at prices above $400 to minimize the parts inventory. On the down side, the resored convertables I saw all were in the $20k range. The one convertible I saw there was dissassembled, missing parts (a POS) and the current bid is around $2600.

Local Wreckers: Find one with a network hookup and you might get one.

Some cornfield in Arkansas: Bubba's dad may have parked out in the back 40 a few decades ago.

good luck.
