My father didnt call me for Thanksgiving or X- Mas.So when I called the first thing he said was.Well you didnt call me! NOw let me remind you he just started being in my life 5y ago I am now 31.Do I need to be up set or what ? or just act as if he didnt say anything.

You can be upset and being so is only natural, but ask yourself is it worth being upset about , then ask yourself what are you going to do now that you are upset, if you do get upset. What will that accomplish and like you said he is only in your life for the last 5 years, so obviously there was some kind of friction in the beginning of your life. So for your well being next year (so you don't get upset), give him a call first.

I say dad the phonme works both ways.I love you but you can call me too..Next time lets try to call each other ..Speak uop but kindly.Your not a little girl and he needs to know you care but will stand up for yourself too
