Okay, so I have another question from my last one. Who thinks its fair that if we are pregnant and both the man and woman are working hard to make ends meet, but make too much according to a piece of paper and get denied for any medical? They dont look at anything such as monlthy bills, groceries, gas for cars to go to work, and whatever else we have to use to live! But there are people out there who choose not to work, they just pretend that their looking for a job and automatically get any assistance there is?

Ask yourself the following questions:
What kind of cars do you drive and what are the payments? Okay every car I have ever owned has been an 80's POS or a geo metro. The one I have now was a graduation gift, becuz I was walking to and from school and work for sveeral months. And it has about 160,000 miles on it and it is always in the shop.
Are you morgaged up to your eyeballs? Could you get by in less of a house to create some cash flow? No the house I have now is a tiny small two bedroom, in order for me to get into the shower I have to walk sideways because the wall, sink and toliet are all right there the kitchen is the same way.
Are you extremely frugal with your eating habits, or could you put the squeeze on? We shop at the cheapest grocery store in town and half the time the food we buy is rottenHow often do you eat out vs. cooking in?
Do you get salon manicures? (DIY and save $$!) No I have only had two manicures inmy life

And I dont go anywhere for fun such as movies. I havent seen any of my friends or family since before thanksgiving and they only live an hour away. So I dont have a luxurious lifestyle right now. I cant even afford to buy myself clothes for work, I have two pairs of pants and like three shirts, and they are changing our policy again at work for clothes, and then I really dont know what Im gonna do. I dont get anything that isnt needed. All of our money goes to stuff we have to have. I do have the lowest monthly plan on my phone.

I agree with you 100%, I couldn't get lunch assistance for my son in school because they say I make too much, yet my husband is a full-time student and I am the only one with an income supporting all 3 of us. It's crazy, I don't get any government assistance, I do it all on my own but they wouldn't help with that. Yet women can sit around on welfare and keep making baby after baby and that's ok...I don't get it!
Yes I have credit card debt up the ying yang...lol....but I try to cut down wherever and whenever I can...I shop at the cheaper grocery stores and stuff like that...and I'm fortunate enough to have a son who knows he doesn't have to have the most expensive everything in life...lol...(also my hubby graduates this year with a Bachelors so that will be a BIG blessing)

Well, IMHO, a lot of couples/families live beyond their means without really thinking about it. If you honestly evaluate your bills you might find that you really have quite a comfortable life. Assistance is for people who have nothing!
If your combined income disqualified you for medical, you need to learn to live within your means.

Do either of you have a tobacco or coffee habit?
I'm sure you can find one or more areas to cut your expenses, if you try hard enough.

I totally agree with you, the apartment complex we live in we have lived here for two years and just recently it got approved to be a H.U.D accepted place so now we have all of these people moving in that are just trashy and have every type of assistance that they can get and just sit at home all day smoking weed and what not, meanwhile the one lady that lives across from my is the nicest women she has three young daughters and is going back to school to better herself and make her and her daughters life better and she needs medical and some financial aid for school and she can't get it. tell me that isn't messed up, it is nice to know that my husband's money goes to people who don't want to work and just want to procreate yearly and collect more and more money from the state. We are currently looking for a new place to live because although these apartments are beautiful if you live here you are immediately considered low class and trashy and that is not how we are we are hard working people and earned everything we have and don't get any kind of assistance.

This drives me crazy. I work with the state's early intervention program and I see delayed and disabled babies/toddlers in their homes for physical therapy. There are so many hardworking, honest folks out there who are getting completely screwed. I have kids I see that don't even financially qualify for adaptive equipment (which is insanely expensive and the parents can no way pay out of pocket.)
Then you have families where neither parents work, they sit at home everyday watching their cable or satellite, smoking cigarettes endlessly, etc, and they have things handed to them on a silver platter!
One of my frustrated families wrote to Jim Talent and Roy Blunt who are Congressmen from Missouri and both of their responses was that maybe if they (the family) didn't have a poor attitute their daughter could be helped. Argh! The idiots in DC don't even have a freakin clue as to how the system is working!!
So, in a roundabout way to answer your question, no it is not fair and I see this every day which makes me have less faith every second on how the "system" is run.
(ps I also see a very sick child who is a double organ transplant recipient and social services won't even allow the parents to have a life insurance policy on him or anyone in the house! It's not a "necessity" and he will lose his Medicaid if they ever get one!)

Thank for status up and do the jihad. My children cross to a Muslim university and in that university there are lots of Christian and Hindu academics however they're instructed to regulate them self in keeping with the universities polices. In the university my children are been suggestion the whole lot in Islamic manner within the morning for the period of the meeting the entire children must recite kalma (I wish the spelling is correct) no mater which faith he follows. It used to be their moms and dads alternative to ship them to a Muslim university so allow them to comply with our teachings. I will say that the leadership of the university may be very deficient and they don't worry Allah, an individual who fears Allah might no longer stop the compliment of Allah considering that they don't just like the Adhan. May Allah consultant them to the correct course and exhibit them the way in which out (Ameen). It does not topic how so much men and women combat towards Islam we're finally the winner no person might be ready to wipe out Islam Inshallah.

No I do not think that it's fair. Kind of the same thing happened to my mom. They really should consider the bills and groceries and such.

wether it's fair or not depends on if the person applying for aid is truthful or not I don't feel that someone who chooses not to work can get aid because they lie is fair . . . but I also chose to quit my job and raise my children even though my husband earned only 38000.00 per year we didn't qualify for aid but we were able to live . . we even had our second child while I was unemployed with out insurance . . it's really all in the budgeting, and defining your needs from your wants.

of course it's not fair!
it seems that there's always a big crack that people fall into where they aren't making enough to get by comfortably, but they're making too much to get any help. it makes a person want to stop trying when it seems to screw you over when you try.
